I was talking to my friend about this season the other day, about how I'm not sure if I like it yet because Cuddy and House are finally together. I mean, I like the cynical, vicodin popping, mean House, but my friend loves how he's actually HUMAN for once. Which makes sense. I mean, After 6 seasons of him being an old fart, he's finally with the one he loves?
So back to the episode: There's 3 main story lines going on here
- The new hire
- Cuddy and House
- The sick person --> funny how this one comes last when describing the episode, even though it should be the priority. That's what I like about the new Houses, it's more about the people, the doctors, instead of the cases. While the cases still remain as mind boggling as ever, the people are fucking interesting. Ever since Sela Ward was on, the whole season shifted...Amen to that!
1) They hired a new girl, wait, so 13 is gone forever?!!!!! (Heehee, I check up IMDB, it says she'll be back biatchessssssssssssss!! I hope IMDB isn't just shitting me because they didn't put a "credit only" thing next to her name, and afterall, she is in the intro, so I hope she comes back!) And if they're going to hire a new female doctor, why can't they just bring back Cameron? Every time she comes and leaves, I feel like it's always so unresolved, like the door is still open, that she might actually come back. So can she come back already?? NEW GIRL: I love everyone is trying to figure out why in the hell Chase hired a lame ass doctor who's just pretty...Isn't it obvious? It's cute that Chase is trying to help her out and prep her on stuff and defending her honor/his fuck-up. OMGOMGOMGOMG Chase and Foreman fight!!! Love it! I <3 Chase! Oh, well. Anyways. I don't like her. Point blank. Next girl please...
2) Cuddy and House are fighting, story of their lives. House loves the sex and also loves his freedom, hence they haven't slept over at each other's places yet. In the beginning of the episode, you see him smiling and stretching out on the empty bed. But he has a hooker masseuse who he claims makes his leg feel better, the best one he's ever had, but uh, unlucky for Cuddy, he's slept with her. So like any woman who's in her right mind, she obviously asks House to stop seeing her. HAHAHAHAHA OMG. Love when he sends her a gay masseuse-hooker who has all the right lines to say to Cuddy's comebacks. Brilliant! ("Are you a prostitute?" "Are you a cop?" LOL). But after he argues with Cuddy, with quite valid arguments, the next day he seems forlorn waking up by himself. Sad. But he gave in, like the nice person is that he is....I think that they're on the train from "fine" to "serious." Heehee the daughter is gnawing on House's cane at the end. <3
3) The patient. Stomach and chest problems. A liar, as all of House's patient are. New stolen identity. Supposed abusive ex-husband. Current husband had no idea who this "Carl" person even was?? She lied. Haha, go figure. And now she's also having hallucinations? Answer: she was tapering off from her psych meds which caused all her problems since she was SCHIZOPHRENIC! Wow, and the new female doctor just finished her residency in psych.....zomg. So embarrassed on her behalf.
Last burning question: I thought that Sam (Wilson's ex-wife/current girlfriend) and House last season that they were basically going to war. Did they just drop that story line altogether? I wanted to see them FIGHT! Like for reals, and not passive aggressively.
BTW, have I ever said how much I love love love House's elevator scenes? The elevators are obviously not moving, the people in there just stare at the top like their moving. It's fucking hilarious.
